By Pete Kercher, President of EIDD

This was the field investigated by the EIDD Annual Conference 2006, held in Waterford on 18-19 May.

Concluding the Conference, EIDD adopted the Waterford Convention, which encapsulates the aspirations enshrined in the international treaties and calls for a greater focus on holistic Design for All methods to achieve them, including a regular European Standing Conference, to meet once every four years.
