EIDD 15th AGM approves seven
new members
At its 15th Annual General Meeting in Stockholm on 24 May, EIDD membership received a real boost, confirming two members already approved by the Board of Directors during its November 2007 meeting in Valencia and welcoming no less than seven further new members distributed all over the continent.
The confirmed members are Ornamo, the Finnish Association of Designers (due to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2011) and the Lithuanian Design Forum.
The new members

- The Estonian Association of Designers, Tallinn
- The Moholoy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest
- Design Flanders, Brussels
- BNO, the Association of Dutch Designers, Amsterdam
- The Centre for Living Upright, Novi Sad, Vojvodina
- The Royal College of Art Helen Hamlyn Centre, London
This new influx of significant members from the world of design for social inclusion means that EIDD now has an active presence in twenty European countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
